This report outlines the impact of our website traffic for the year 2017. Most websites in English-speaking countries only get a smattering of traffic from non-English speaking countries. However, for us the majority our our web traffic is non English-speaking. The top 5 countries visiting our website are Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Ukraine and Peru. Web traffic from Brazil alone accounts for up to 18% of the total. This is partly due to our efforts in actively getting our material translated to over 20 languages and also due to the wonderful opportunity we have owing to the Google Adgrant allowing us to advertise widely and in multiple languages.
As a small non-profit working with a shoe-string budget we are very proud of the fact that we have had a global vision, and a global reach, right from the outset and that this is working so well. Web traffic for us is not just a matter of telling people what we do; it is how we actually do our work. Our work is to inform people about forgiveness and to offer them the material which helps them do so. The web is perfect for this. Our web traffic is the heart and soul of our work at this time. We are also expanding on providing workshops. Yet that is only in the beginning stages and we see our outreach work via the web as being the core of what we do.
In order to extend or reach – particularly in the Farsi/ Persian language we are also extending our advertising into Iraq as of now (Sept 2018). We more recently added some of the less populated places such as: Comoros, Chad, Djibouti, Eritrea, Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia, Tanzania and Western Sahara.
We receive the majority of web traffic we receive from non-english speaking countries. This is very heartening as our goal is to spread knowldge and information on how to forgive worldwide:
