# GFI Keyword Research
**GFI Keyword Research** is an internal tool built and used by Global Forgiveness Initiative (GFI), a Scottish charity, to research which forgiveness-related topics people are actually searching for online. We use it to plan and prioritise new articles and pages on [globalforgivenessinitiative.com](https://globalforgivenessinitiative.com), so that our free forgiveness resources address the topics people genuinely need help with.
## What it does
GFI Keyword Research reads data from **GFI’s own Google Ads account** — including existing campaign names, geographic targeting, and keyword performance — and requests keyword ideas with approximate search volume from Google for candidate content topics.
## What it does not do
– It does not collect, access, or process any personal data belonging to visitors of globalforgivenessinitiative.com, or any third party.
– It has no connection to visitor cookies, analytics data, or any personally identifiable information.
– It does not access any Google Ads account other than GFI’s own, and is not distributed to or used by any other organisation.
## Who uses it
GFI Keyword Research is used internally by GFI staff only, for content planning purposes.
